TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Updated 10-04-2026
Goldmark Detailing strives to provide the best auto detailing and ceramic coating experience. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering our services and to explain some of our business’s terms and conditions. We hope you will find the policies listed below helpful and informative in explaining the scope of our services.
The following terms are designed to protect your rights as well as our own. The most important terms are found at the top of this page under “Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy,” “Before Your Detail," and “Vehicle Terms.”
By scheduling any service with Goldmark Detailing, you hereby agree to all terms listed in this document.
We may require a $30 non-refundable deposit to secure an appointment before service. This deposit will always be applied to a rescheduled appointment. If, for any reason, the customer needs to cancel or reschedule, he should let us know within an appropriate time frame, and we will gladly transfer his deposit to another appointment. The deposit is deducted from the total cost of the service when payment is collected. If the customer does not pay the $30 deposit before service, it will be charged when payment is collected.
The client is sent a full guide before his appointment so that he can prepare his vehicle for service. If the vehicle is not ready upon our arrival and Goldmark Detailing has to wait more than 10 minutes for the customer to remove excess trash or personal belongings, or otherwise prepare the vehicle for service, we reserve the right to charge a $50 convenience fee for the lost time.
If the client is not home or is unable to provide access to his vehicle within a reasonable time frame, we reserve the right to charge a $100 time-slot fee for taking up a valuable spot in our busy schedule. Please ensure that your vehicle is available and that these terms are respected.
Please remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from your vehicle before any type of service. Goldmark Detailing will not move personal belongings due to safety and liability concerns.
Each job is allotted an average amount of time based on the selected package and the conditions specified by the customer. The customer is responsible for informing Goldmark Detailing of any excessive conditions before booking so that we can provide the most accurate estimate. Examples include pet hair, stains, kids’ messes, mold, bodily fluids, sand, and trash. If any such conditions are present, the quote may be updated after an in-person inspection.
If areas such as the center-console storage compartment or glove compartment are not cleared of belongings, we will not be able to clean them. Protecting our customers’ personal property is a high priority.
We ask our clients to remove car seats, booster seats, and seat covers before we arrive. If a car seat or cover is left in the vehicle, we will do our best to clean around it, but we cannot guarantee your total satisfaction. For child-safety reasons, we will not uninstall or install car seats under any circumstances.
We reserve the right to price each vehicle according to its condition and the time we believe the service will take. By booking with our company, you acknowledge that our prices may vary depending on the inspection of your vehicle. We will always inspect your vehicle before beginning service to ensure you understand the extent of the work required.
Additional fees will apply to jobs involving pet hair, stains, odors, hazardous materials such as mold or waste matter, and similar conditions.
Pet hair and sand are two of the toughest contaminants to remove from a vehicle with normal vacuuming. Complete removal of either is not guaranteed with any of our services. However, in most cases, we can remove visible traces of both.
We make no guarantees regarding the removal of stains or odors from vehicles. However, our top priority is customer satisfaction, and we will always do our best using professional-grade equipment and chemicals. Please be aware that some upholstery, seat belts, and carpets may be beyond cleaning and may not come as clean as expected. Some stains are permanent. We will discuss what can and cannot be done to your vehicle’s interior.
Odors cannot be removed by cleaning alone. They must be treated with ozone and may require attention from a specialist.
We do our best when cleaning windows, but factors such as temperature, humidity, and sunlight may cause a film to form. If you notice streaks, allow the car to cool, then wipe the film away with a microfiber towel. We apologize for any inconvenience; this is simply how window-cleaning chemicals work.
We are not responsible for damage to heavily-soiled, stained, or damaged interior components, such as dashboard buttons or steering-column buttons and knobs. These areas may be so caked with dirt, grime, or makeup that cleaning causes the buttons or knobs to lose their markings.
We clean the headliner gently, but some stains may remain. The adhesive used in headliners can begin to release if the material is cleaned too aggressively or with stronger cleaners. For this reason, headliners may not come completely clean. If you choose to have a headliner cleaned more aggressively, you do so at your own risk; it may initially look clean but sag over time if the adhesive has been compromised. If the headliner is too fragile to work on during the pre-inspection, we will not attempt further cleaning that could risk damage.
We are not responsible for baked-on brake dust that cannot be completely removed from the wheel’s surface or from deep within the wheel. Some wheels are beyond cleaning and may need to be repaired or replaced.
Water spots, bird droppings, bug splatter, sap, and tar can chemically etch your vehicle’s paint if left for a period of time. This can leave a deep chemical mark that may require additional work to remove safely. In some cases, the mark cannot be removed completely without compromising the clear coat.
Exterior black or gray trim pieces, whether textured or smooth, may be beyond restoration and may need to be replaced. If restoration is a service you have discussed with us, we will do our best to return the plastic to its original color.
Any wax, sealant, or coating that is not properly cared for will not last for its intended lifespan. We recommend safe hand washing.
Payment must be made in full on the day the service is completed. You will receive multiple reminders to make this payment.
If a client has canceled multiple times, we reserve the right to require full payment to the card on file as a condition of rescheduling. We also reserve the right to refuse service if scheduling or payment terms are not respected. We may alter or amend a booking time or date without penalty, but, whenever possible, we will notify the client and provide alternative arrangements.
We reserve the right to alter or reschedule a booking because of weather conditions, staff illness, or equipment failure without penalty to the company. Whenever possible, we will notify the client and provide alternative arrangements.
For your safety, please remain at least 10–15 feet away from our work area to avoid trip or slip hazards. Please also stay clear of hoses, extension cords, and other equipment. If you need to speak with us while we are working on your vehicle, please get our attention from a distance. We do our best to remain aware of our surroundings, but we do not want you to get hurt by tripping over hoses, cords, or other hazards.
We expect all clients to communicate their vehicles’ condition accurately before our technicians arrive. If, upon arrival, our technicians have reason to believe that the client concealed conditions involving urine, feces, semen, mold, mildew, or other hazardous substances, Goldmark Detailing reserves the right, at its discretion, to charge partial or full payment to the card on file without completing the job. This policy helps ensure a safe work environment and prevents our technicians from being taken advantage of.
When you schedule services with Goldmark Detailing, you give us permission to post photos and videos of your vehicle taken before, during, or after the service. Your vehicle may appear online through our social media channels. We will not identify you by name or include your license plate or home address without your prior permission. If you have any concerns about our use of media, please let us know before service, and we will be happy to accommodate you.
If you do not agree to the photo/video terms above, please print and sign the statement below, then send it to us in writing (by letter, email, text, etc.).
I, _____________________ (first and last name), do not authorize Goldmark Detailing to use photos or videos of my vehicle for marketing purposes. I acknowledge that these materials may still be used for internal training.

If there is clear evidence that the service technician did not fulfill the package as ordered or that the work was performed poorly, we will, at our expense, refund or redo the incomplete or unsatisfactory portion of the service.
Clients must report any potential mistakes made by Goldmark Detailing during the post-inspection or within 24 hours of the job’s completion. Reporting an issue after the 24-hour period does not guarantee that it will be corrected. However, we will do our best to understand your needs and serve you appropriately. Redos, refunds, or reimbursements will not be provided after any unauthorized cleaning or repairs.
If you refuse a redo appointment for the unsatisfactory portion of your service, any refund will be limited to a maximum of 20% of the service’s value.
Only services included in your order, along with additional services authorized by Goldmark Detailing, are covered by our service guarantee. Any services not authorized by Goldmark Detailing are performed at the client’s own risk.
Payment is due immediately after your service is completed. Refusal or failure to pay for your service invalidates our service guarantee, and any redo services or discounts will be at Goldmark Detailing’s sole discretion.
The client who books the service is responsible for agreeing verbally or in writing to the pre-inspection and post-inspection of his vehicle. Failure to do so will forfeit the right to a refund.
Any claims must be filed within 24 hours of service completion by emailing mark@goldmarkdetailing.com and attaching photographs.
Failure to disclose, at the time of booking, any conditions involving heavy stains, foul odors, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray, or other hazardous materials voids our service guarantee. No refunds, redos, or additional work will be provided beyond the original package or estimate.
We reserve the right to charge the customer for lost time, inconvenience caused to other customers, or hazardous conditions. Please ensure that you have followed our terms and guides before our arrival. This is your responsibility.
Some issues may require services beyond those you ordered. Refusing services recommended by our customer service team or your on-site technician may invalidate the service guarantee.
Goldmark Detailing may use SMS text messaging to communicate with customers about appointment confirmations, scheduling and service updates, reminders, follow-up messages, customer support, and, where separately authorized, promotional offers.

The client agrees to pay in full before the vehicle or products are released. The vehicle or products will not be released until payment has been processed in full. Any invoice not paid at the time of order or delivery is considered past due. The client is responsible for all collection fees, including but not limited to attorney fees and court costs, for unpaid balances. Interest will accrue at a rate of 18% per annum.
This is not an expectation contract, and we are not responsible for buyers’ remorse.
By accepting the product or vehicle, you acknowledge that the job is complete and that the work is satisfactory. You are responsible for inspecting the product or vehicle upon receipt. Clients must notify Goldmark Detailing in writing of any dispute concerning an invoice within three days of the invoice date. If a dispute is not submitted in writing within that three-day period, the client is deemed to have accepted the job and the invoice. Clients must contact Goldmark Detailing about any disputed work and provide a written explanation. After investigating, if we determine that an error was our responsibility, we will make appropriate corrections.
Goldmark Detailing is not responsible for loss of or damage to vehicles or items left inside vehicles in cases of fire, theft, accident, or any other cause beyond our control. VEHICLE INSPECTION/CONDITION: Goldmark Detailing will conduct a pre-inspection with the client before beginning work on the vehicle. At that time, our technicians will notify the client of any concerns. The client is responsible for explaining to the technician what he wants from the detail.
Goldmark Detailing is not responsible for the condition of the vehicle’s surfaces before services are performed. Existing scratches, cracks, or other damage will remain visible through a coating or paint protection. Such surface damage or imperfections may also damage the protection applied and cause it to fail prematurely. We reserve the right to refuse any work or vehicle for any reason.
CHANGES/CORRECTIONS/ERRORS: We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies, prices, omissions, descriptions, and errors relating to products, production, availability, and updated information at any time without prior notice.
