Pre-Wash
The wash starts with a foaming soap sprayed on the car and rinsed off. This breaks down dirt and removes it from the paint before anything even touches it, minimizing swirling and scratching.
Hand Wash
Now that the car is 90% clean already, it's much safer to proceed with a contact wash. This removes any remaining loose dirt along with cleaning the wheels and tires, door jambs, and any bugs, tar, or sap on the paint.
Decontamination
Even after a thorough wash, there are some particles that remain. These are usually iron or dirt that embed themselves into the paint with normal driving and use of the vehicle. Decontamination involves using an iron remover to dissolve any specks of rust in the paint, then using a form of soft polymer known as "clay" to remove all contaminates. The result? Extremely smooth paint that's ready for a coating.
Ceramic Sealant
Thanks to the decontamination step, any final protection applied to the paint will last significantly longer. This sealant will make your car very hydrophobic. This gives the car self-cleaning properties, makes it much faster and easier to wash, and adds fantastic gloss that lasts for months.
